Being a writer is not an easy task. I repeatedly asked myself why I chose to be a writer. In fact, this question is similar to why I chose to be myself, Rahaf Estanbllie. Literature? What is it other than words written with passion and love? It is our life details embroidered with emotions… It could be more, however. As for me, it is my ideas, emotions, thoughts, and ambitions that I pour on paper, dreaming of reaching one day the life that we, as kind human beings, really deserve. Art? What role does it have other than elevating the human sense and awareness in such a changing world? It is an essential need that we can't do without in order to survive. Simply, this is what I highly care about, and my words reflect. This is what Art and Literature mean to me, and Life, in its turn means, as well. This is why Lidocaien emerged. Just to be a free space to embrace my words, which for me, are more than novel and short story experiences. It is my limitless space, however.
